Re: Hughs/ Lawrence Co. OH data/ 1818-1840

I have the Lawrence County, Ohio 1820 census with Absolom Hughes listed, a copy of the "Earliest Marriage Records of Lawrence Co., Ohio Volumes I-III April 11, 1817 to July 23, 1843" That shows Asa (possible nic name for Absalom) marrying Sarah Neal on July 19, 1818.I also have the 1850, "Inhabitants in Perry Twp., Lawrence Co., Ohio: Census of 8/15/1850 that shows
Absolom/Ansolom Hugh Age 64, Farmer, Born in VA
Sarah Hugh Age 59, Born in VA
Ansalom Hugh Age 31, Born in OH
Dennis Hughes Age 20, Born in OH
James Hughes Age 17, Born in OH

And the husband, wife and oldest son appear again on the 1860 census.

The 1870 cenus shows Sarah living with Dennis and his family again in Perry Twp., Lawrence Co., Ohio.
