So, it looks like they were in Portage County, Wisconsin. Why they appeared on the archives for the Waupaca county mailing list is not clear.

Which looks like the Humistons were living in that part of Wisconsin then. I couldn't find Samuel or Roxy on he 1880 census. You might join the Waupaca and/or Portage mail lists long enough to ask about them.
