From a book on The History of Marietta and Washington Co OH (ca 1901) it lists the parents of Miles Humiston as
Lyndes HUMISTON b 1797 in Little Muskingum, Washington Co and d 1881, and Betsy STARLAND(STARLIN?) b ca 1799 in Waterford Twp, Washington Co OH and d 1879.Their children listed in the book are:

-Elizam Abner DEVOL
-Charles
-Sally m David P SLATER
-Jason
-Miles b 1840m Emeline BEEBE

Emeline BEEBE the daughter of George W. BEEBE and Sarah J WEBSTER.George and Sarah BEEBE were my gg grandparents and I would like to contact any descendants of Miles and Emeline.Emeline was the sister of my gr grandfather, Freeman.

I've not verified any of the information above, but I post it to provide some clues for Humiston researchers.
