George C. Humphreys was the half brother of John Humphreys, I think.John and his wife Cynthia Reed and children came to Texas in 1818.I'm not sure whether George was with them.I believe their father's name was William.John had a son named William and one named John and a daughter named Cynthia.Very confusing.

They came from the White River in Arkansas to the Jonesboro Settlement on Red River.

John died, and Cynthia returned to the Tennesse/Kentucky area where she had some family.I don't have a birthdate for John.I'm not sure this is the information you need.I can't connect much to George.Good ancestor hunting.
