William returned to Red River County from Tennessee or Aabama in 1836 with his wife and some of his children.He received a league and a labor of land.I don't know if the land George bought came from William's survey.I do know there were Humphreys relatives who owned land that had come from it about forty years ago.I don't know when they bought it or from whom.Good hunting.
