I have read all your messages about George Humphreys. I am searching for a George Crittington Humphreys. I don't have father, mother, wife. I do have a son Richard Perry Humphreys. There were 3 girls. Lucy, Oasie(sp) and I don't have the name of the third girl. I think a half brother to Geo was T B(Thomas Benton/Benjamin) Humphreys of Palo Pinto Co.,Texas also Red River Co. around Mineral Wells. There another Family who was Wallace, Tonk, and George Preston Humphreys of Aspermont. He was Sherrif and was inducted into the Cowboy Hall of Fame. Not sure about just why or what????
