George C. Humphreys was a half brother to John Humphreys, father of Cynthia, William and John R. Humphreys per "History of Calrksville and Old Red River Co." by Pat Clark (1936) which can be accessed on Red River Co Texas GenWeb.

George had 12 children by two wives.I am a decendant of Thomas B. Humphreys, Born 3 Aug 1837 Miss.Died 30 Jan 1916 Antlers, OK, buried in Santo East Cem in Santo Texas.I have a lot of info on Thomas and several really good pictures.(Will share)
