George Crittington Humphreys is the father of my Aunt Juanita.George C Humphreys, born June 13, 1888, was the first husband of my grandmother, Mattie Rachel Smith.In 1910 he and my grandmother lived in Fisher Co. and he was a cowboy.They divorced when my Aunt Juanita was 5 and then she married my grandfather.I have photos of George when he was young, a copy of his draft registration card and photos of him in his WWI uniform.I believe that later in life he may have been the ranch manager of the XIT Ranch which is why he may be in the hall of fame.He died April 1974 in Borger, Hutchinson Co., Texas.
