I thought I would give you an update on what I have found regarding Orson's movements per census records.
He first shows up as a child, born in Orleans county, in the 1855 New York State census records in Somerset, Niagara county, to Laban and Charlotte Hungerford.
He is still living with his parents in the 1860 census in Grand Blanc, Genesee county, Michigan.
In 1870 he is living alone in Mundy, Genesee county, Michigan. His father is also listed as being in Mundy.
In 1880 he has moved to Centre Plains township, Crawford county, Michigan and has a wife Lydia and two sons (Walter & George) with him.His father has stayed in Mundy.
1900 finds Orson in Morrice, Shiawassee county, Michigan with wife Lydia and children George & Cleo.
I haven't found him in the 1910 census.
As you know, he was living with John & Cleo Barker, in Lansing, Ingham county, Michigan in 1920.
I hope this helps.Have you found any new information?
