William can be found in the 1850, Franklin, St. Mary's Parish, Louisiana census--listed as Hungerville.In 1870 he is in District #11, Centreville, Hickman county, Tennessee.
He must have died between 1870 & 1880 as I found his wife in Hickman county, TN in 1880.I can't take this line back any further--yet.
John Richard is the 5th of 8 children.I have two references for you regarding John R. and Sarah P. Hungerford.Reference page 57 of "Hickman County, Tennessee Wills, 1866-1982," by Olgia Dotson.It states: Martha Lancaster.All property to go to John R. Hungerford and wife, S. P. Hungerford.Martha (her mark) Lancaster.Executor: John R. Hungerford.Dated 21 Jun 1906.
