Hi again:I needed to clear up a mistake I made earlier in my post.I made a boo-boo on my grandmothers name it was Sarah Minor Lail instead of Sarah munor Lail.Also I satated that my grandfather was involved in a killing,which is wrong he was only accused of it due to a statement that he had made earlier about a gang of men who were going around the country side raping and killing the women folks while their men were off fighting in the war.He had made the statement that if they messed with his mother and sisters, who were living by themselves as his father was dead, he would kill them.Then shortly thereafter the gang was found killed not very far from his mothers home place and he was accused of killing them.Then since he didn't have an alibi or could not prove that he didn't do it or was not involved, he had to leave N.C..He left leaving his wife and 2 small children and then later sent for them to join him in Georgia.The family moved about from sometime after 1904 finally settling in Titus Co., Texas sometime after 1906. I just wanted to clear this up.Thanks again.Geraldine Ashley Miller
