My ancestors came to USA about then. I was told that they came from sligo So. but from Killeran(spelling?)
Michael Hunt came to the states to escape british imprisonment related to the IRA, His Brother James was executed for his part and his brother John Stayed back in Ireland. Michael Married Catherine O'brien and some how the name Gillmartin is in the family tree
