For information, I have checked where I had heard about Killoran before and it was actually from my mother - she went to school there.
It is a townland in the parish of Coolaney in Co. Sligo and there were Hunts living there up to recently. I will check with an aunt of mine who lives near there to see if she knows of a connection between the details you supply and the Hunts in Killoran.
