Don't know if this is your family or not but while looking for my HUNT ancestor I came across this from Commemorative Biog. Ency. of The Juniata Valley, PA, 1897, J.M. Runk & Co. Pub.J.J. HUNT, Lewistown, Mifflin Co. PA, b. Ardmore, Montgomery Co. PA, 8 Sep 1849, s/o Joseph & Deborah H. KIRGAN HUNT.The HUNT family were English Friends and settled near Philadelphia during old provincial days.
