Bob, I am afraid someone has given you some badinformation.You may have already have gotten it corrected, but just in case here is the correction you need.

It was not J. W. Aswell who married Lizzie Husbands on the date you have.It was J. W. ROWELL.It is recorded in Clarke County, Mississippi Marriage Book D, page 118.

Lizzie was not the daughter of Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Kelly) Husbands.Her father and mother were William J. and Sabra (Overstreet) Husbands.James W. Rowell died between 1880 census and 1900 census. Lizzie is living with 7 of her 8 children and her mother Sabra in Clarke County, MS in 1900.Lizzie's proper name was Elizabeth Jane.
