My Grandfather/ Edgar Nathanial Husbandsb. July 22, 1892, Hinds County, MS.

For some reason no one seems to know anything about my grandfather and his ancestors.Edgar Nathanial Husbands was born in Hinds Cnty, MS on July 22, 1892, his other siblings were George Husbands, Frances Husbands, Inez Husbands and Charles Alvin Husbands. His father was John A. Husbands b. abt 1860 Smith County, MS.His mother was Margarete Katherine (Katie) Borah.Edgar Nathanial Husbands married once in Chicago, once in TN. and once in Texas, I believe around Dallas.He changed his name in Jackson, Madison County, TN. in September, 1924, to Edward Nathanial Harris.He married my Grandmother, Nannie Lucille Pulley, and had two sons before he changed his name.The first was my dad Edward Norment Harris and the other was Neill Johnson Harris.He also has a son names James Thomas Harris and a daughter named Ellen Frances Harris.My dad called Edgar's mother Grandma Jarrett so I assume there was either a divorce or Edgar's father died.My dad had several half brothers and sisters he never got to meet before he died on April 30, 2004.If any one has any information about this Husbands family please e-mail me at [email protected] do not live far from Memphis, TN. so if I have any cousins or uncles or aunts in MS. or TN.
