On his tombstone in Murray County, Oklahoma it says he is a Confederate soldier with the 8th Infantry Mississippi company F.

I am very interested in learning about this man.How do I find out where this company traveled and what battles they were in?

My grandmother said, that he said the war was "terrible" and they almost killed him several times.I wish I knew more.

Does anyone know how I might find out more about him?
