Have you contacted The Hudson Family Association? Joan Hudson is president and I'm sure would be interested. These Hutson/Hudson folks may be connected to William, Irby and Tuttle Hudson of Virginia and Maryland. I don't know much about this line but Joan Hudson sent me a tip on them in researching my own Hutson line. The HFA website is:

There was a Kinner Hudson listed as serving in the 10th Continental Line from Fauquier County, Virginia during the American Revolution. They spent the winter at Valley Forge with Washington.
