Re: Thomas Hutt, Liberty of the Clink
Jane Frances Hutt nee Shoults was my great great great grandmother, she married John Samuel Hutt and had three sons and two daughters, the second of whom Caroline
Maria, Jane died giving birth to on 7th September 1841. The location of her death was the "Two Angels and Crown" public house in St Giles, Holborn. John Samuel I believe worked in the licensing trade, one listing I saw showed him
as a wine cooper.
I have a fairly detailed tree of my branch of the Hutts going back to 1600. John Samuel Hutt was christened at Bethnal Green in 1812, his parents came from the village of Wolston in Warwickshire. Whether John was born there or Bethnal Green I don't know.
After Jane's death, John Samuel re-married although I don't know whether there were any more children. The daughter Caroline Maria wasn't christened until 1848, what became of her I don't know.
If information on the Hutts is of interest, please let me know. I'd be very interested to know anything you know about either Jane Frances, John Samuel or their descendants.
