Iowa Inbody Mysteries--Jacob Inbody; Caroline Inbody

My great grandfather, JACOB INBODY, served in the Civil War with the 35th Infantry Regiment of Iowa.He was married to MARY ELLEN STAATS and they had one child, ROY INBODY.At the time of his father's death --JACOB JONI INBODY--in 1897, he was listed as living in Seattle, WA.Family letters indicated that he was living in a veteran's home in Colorado when he died.I have not had any luck finding information about this--when and where he died and is buried.

In the 1880 census, it showed that a CAROLINE INBODY--b. 1865--was living with JACOB JONI INBODY and SUSANNA CHUPP in Iowa.[They had a daughter Caroline born in 1849.]Does anyone know whose daughter this Caroline is?Jacob Joni had 5 brothers:Adam b. 1813, Samuel b. 1817, Jesse b. 1821, Benjamin b. 1826, and Henry b. 1829.He also had 2 sisters:Betsy b. 1812 and Catharine (m. Joseph Zollinger) b. 1827.
