Hi, I'm Looking for any information on William David Inghram who lived in the northeastern corner of Mississippi. His tombstone shows him to be born March 4, 1848 and to have died Oct 29, 1946.He married first Emily Jane Bennett and second Dillie Earl Mock.He had a total of 10 children, 6 with Emily and 4 with Dillie. In 1900, the family was in Lee county, MS.In 1920 they were in Prentiss county and in 1930 they can be found in Itawamba county, MS.In the census, William lists his birthdate as Mar 1860 which corresponds to a William Ingram in the 1880 Itawamba county, MS census.I believe this is probably him.The head of that household was a David Ingram and I will come back to him in a bit.William David was buried in Tishomingo county, MS.In the census records, he lists his birthplace as GA, and MS with his father being born in either NC or MS and his mother being born in either MS or VA. Anyone have additional?
David and Mary Inghram were the William Ingram's parents in the 1880 Itawamba county census.Info handed down from my great grandmother says William David's mother was a Brooks so this Mary Inghram may have been a Brooks if indeed this is the correct people.Their tombstones show the name to be spelled Inghram.
