Re: John Ireland born 1797

John sailed to Sydney in 1823, married Sarah Ann Blades in 1828, and established and ran the "Speed the Plough" Inn on Parramatta Road 5 miles from the GPO. He bought land over the Blue Mountains, and was involved in coaching long before the days of Cobb & Co. All his children were born at Dobroyd/Ashfield where he died suddenlyin 1847.No known connection to Yorkshire.
