I’m looking for a Melinda P. “Jane” Walker who was living in Harrison County in 1850.It appears she is actually the daughter of Aaron E. Ferguson of Logansport, De Soto, LA and before that MS.Her mother was almost certainly Patsy Calihan.She apparently first married a man named Walker and then sometime between 1850 and 1860 married G. W. Martin in Harrison County, TX.G. W. Martin was born abt. 1822 in Alabama so he may be a sibling of your Martin.I have 2 published citations stating this relationship that I will be glad to share.Would like to compare notes about Melinda/Jane and G.
