Just few "tidbits" of information (that may or may not be of any interest to you):

1) Lucretia Childers who married Matthew/Mathew Tucker was a sister of the Tabitha Childers who married my ggggg-grandfather Hezekiah Davidson (Hezekiah died in Cumberland Co., VA around 1793).Lucretia and Tabitha had another sister named Sophia/Sophronia Childers who married Samuel Taylor, and Hezekiah Davidson (of Albemarle Co., VA) bought land in Cumberland Co., VA from Samuel Taylor in 1760.Hezekiah Davidson was a witness in Albemarle Co., VA in the 1740s on a couple of deeds that involved Matthew Tucker and/or his apparent brother Drury Tucker (and one of Matthew's daughters married into your Irvine family, as I recall).

Note: The above Childers sisters "trace back" to the John Woodson who came to Jamestown on the ship "George" in 1619.That John Woodson has already been accepted as a "valid ancestor" for any of his descendants who want to join the "Jamestown Society."

2) The Miss Kyle who married David Irvine was out of Robert Kyle and Elizabeth Campbell of Albemarle/Buckingham Co., VA.Some adult children of Robert Kyle and Elizabeth Campbell moved to Botetourt Co., VA by the 1760s, as did a William Davidson who was in another "branch" of my overall Davidson family (which is represented by DNA "Family 10" at www.davidsongenes.org).It APPEARS (though research continues) that the David Davidson who was on the 1810 Campbell Co., VA census was a son of that William Davidson who had moved from Buckingham toBotetourt Co., VA.It also appears that the later/younger William Davidson who married Eliza Irvine....a daughter of a John Irvine, Junior....in 1822 in Campbell Co., VA was a son of the above David Davidson.Per some research, it seems likely that this David Davidson had married a Miss Campbell who was from the same overall Campbell family as the Elizabeth Campbell who had married Robert Kyle.Records show a close relationship in Botetourt Co., VA between the Kyle family and the Davidson family there.

3) I see that a member of the Irvine family married a woman who was named Isabella LEA Bankston.Another son of the above David Davidson named Samuel Davidson married a woman who was named Elender Lea (a daughter of a Gideon Lea and a Miss Coffee/Caffrey)).I would assume that there was some "biological connection" between these folks with the shared name of "Lea."

4) I see that a member of the Irvine family married into the Cabell family, and that Cabell family had married into the Carrington family. The above-referenced Hezekiah Davidson (who married Tabitha Childers) was the next-door neighbor of the George Carrington estate in Cumberland Co., VA.Also, that Cabell family married into the Pendleton family, and the above Davidson family also married into that same overall Pendleton family on at least two occasions.

Anyway....I always find these "common connections" to be interesting.
