Re: Misc. Irvines, not necessarily related

Hello, Bill, I believe we have crossed paths before.

Of your four points, only 1 and 3 relate directly to me.

1. Lucretia and Matthew's daughter, Louisa, married my Christopher Irvine.I have some info on the Childers, your info adds more.Thanks.

2. David Irvine was probably the uncle of the above Christopher.David also had a son named Christopher after his father.They were in what became Bedford Co., VA about 1740. I have no interest in the Kyles.

3. Mrs. Isabella Lea Bankston was the daughter of Joseph Henderson and Adelphia Mary Lea.She was the daughter of Frances Major Lea and the granddaughter of William Lea, a Rev. War soldier.I have no idea if any relation to the Gideon Lea you mention.

4. Irvine/Cabell.I know of this relation.As I do not descend from her father-in-law William Irvine, I have read about, but not documented anything on the Cabells .I believe he was full brother to my Christopher Irvine, but there is no documentation. (Many believe this William was the son of another William Irvine, the brother of the above David, and the probable father of my Christopher.However, I believe they have the wrong mother.)
