UPDATE/CORRECTION:Per DNA testing, the William W. Davidson (and his brothers Archer A. Davidson and Baker W. Davidson) in Charlotte Co., VA was apparently a member of DNA "Family 16," while my family (including my ggggg-grandfather Hezekiah Davidson) is part of the unrelated DNA "Family 10."The DNA "match" to "Family 16" for the family of William W. Davidson was quite a surprise, since the parents of William W. Davidson named William Davidson and Martha Baker were never "associated" by researchers with DNA "Family 16" in any close way....until the DNA test showed the relationship.

It is still not known to which family the William Davidson who married Eliza Irvine belonged....but DNA "Family 10" remains at least one viable possibility.
