Re: Will of William Irwin, 4 May 1783, Mecklenburg Co., NC
I should most likly send this to your email address, instead of posting here.I've not found anything supporting a second marriage for William Sr,No I donot dought he did remarry . I have been aware of Hannah -2nd wife for a few tears. An suspect she is a Morrison or Graham .
I do know you like self are playing with DNA Genealogy , I am invovled about 10 projects at this time, I've not seen ,better stated not reconized any Irwin's tested for Robert (Wm)line. At this time due to DNA I now ask the question "Will the real Irvine please stand up" ,
We Carruthers and Irvine/Irving/Irwin have been fornicating sence surname were adopted, we are still doing so in Scotland.
Sence you play with DNA this you might find odd.
I came in the rarest bird in bunch, 13 of us tested so far.The Irvine's are all over my family history, I also decend from more then one Irvine. My other surname researchers and DNA subject , have NO connections to Irvine, other then they carry common allie's with Irvine .
11 of my subjects came in with high numbers of and very close matches to the Irvines, in fact one matched 36 out 37 markers, but I come no where close to any of Irvine's.
I am decendant of Rev.Christopher Irvin 1783 Tyrone Ire.,d.1791 Rowan Co,NC.Kent Irvin has submitted DNA for our ancestor Chris. I suspect Chris and Col.Rob Irwin are going to be close match.
