Re: Will of William Irwin, 4 May 1783, Mecklenburg Co., NC
The DNA Issue I know very well, I excpect to see heavy "Clan Crossing"between the two Clans.I am also exspect this with the Bell's.Ireland I exspect to high numbers of crossing between Carruthers / Irvine / O'Neil aka Neely. You missed my point, an maybe falt in wording, sorry.
Logan is wrong on Robert's date ,he's two years off,Robert -Sen.-Col.Robert Irwin was born26 Aug 1738 and I have photo of . Bill date as I've received it from family is the 22 Feb 1737 date you have. I was told by family in NC and SC ,two childern in which I will not list below ,due to no dates, had died young ,thank you for date on the one. I had thought they were in the upper gap 1728-30 .

I agree on DNA, but only to the point they are not using enough markers , and not refined , but with papers, it would bring us close enough to get two decendant to have normal dna and mt testing.
