Chuck, it just occurred to me that Isaac Reed, b. 1752, a son of Nathaniel Reed, b. ca. 1720, was in Jackson Co., GA in 1808. There are 3 unidentified girls in his family, born in the time frame that your Rebecca was born. My guess is that Rebecca was a dau. of Isaac Reed and his wife Susannah Rogers, dau. of Daniel Rogers who d. 1809 Edgefield Dist., SC. Both Isaac and Susannah d. 1840-50 in Hall Co., GA. KRB
