Richard was s/o Jonathan Burdge & Rachel VanDeusen.Jonathan appears in Ohio tax lists in 1807, 1809 & 1810. The family came from Columbia Co, NY.Jonathan's brother, Michael Burdge, served in the Revolutionary War.
