Based on my own research, George W. Ishee and Mary Ann Ishee were first cousins. George's father was Jacob and Mary Ann's father was Johannes (John). They were brothers who emigrated from Switzerland and settled in south Mississippi (Lawrence County about 1820). Early census data had the last named also spelled as Ishe, Isha, and Eshe.
Is Elizabeth and Vina (Viny) the same person? Perhaps, but I don't have enough info about her to make that determination. Maybe Vina was a nickname for Elizabeth. Census data was inexact in those times.
To answer your question about Elizabeth, my guess is that (based on 1850 census) she was 6 years old and was livingalong with her mom (age 22) and elder sister (age 8) at her grandparent's home (John is Mary Ann's dad).
Not sure what happened to Andrew Jackson. But apparently Mary Ann married him, had two children (Vina and Massie) at a very early age (early teens) and then something happened to ol' Andrew. Mary Ann moved back in with her parents and at a later date (after 1850) she married here first cousin George W. Ishee.
I show them having four children of their own:
Martha Ishee - b. 1851
Benjamin Franklin Ishee - b. 1854
Alfred Ishee - b. 1856
Mary Ishee - b. 1860
Mary Ann was born in 1826 and George W. was born in 1823.
I know this sounds confusing, but those were the frontier days and "stuff happened."
I hope this was helpful.
