Charles L. Jack Dies in Hospital
Charles Lemuel Jack, 54, of route 4, died at 7:25 p.m. Friday at Tipton Memorial hospital.He had been in ill health for some time.
Friends may call at the residence on route 4, where the body will lie in state.Funeral arrangements are being made by Clark's funeral home, Elwood.
Services will be at Hobbs Christian church, Monday, with burial to follow in Elwood cemetery.
Jack was born in Tipton county in 1901, the son of Lemuel R. and Dorothy E. (Heflin) Jack, on of 10 children.
He was married December 8, 1928, to Kathryn Stokes, ans was the father of three children.The deceased was a member of the Eagles lodge at Elwood for many years.
Survivors in addition to the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson, and a son, Lemuel, and a grandson, Tommy Robinson.One daughter preceded him in death.Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. James Miller, of Elwood, and two brothers, William, of Elwood, and Robert Jack of Greensburg.Two sisters deceased are Mrs. Beatrice Locke and Mrs. Mable Evans.One brother, Gervis Jack, was killed in World War I.
