Ken Jackson

By Tiffany Allen August 14, 2013 at 05:33:43

Hello,

I am looking for information on a Ken Jackson. I am not related to this line, but he was aboard the S.S. Lady Hawkins when it was sunk on January 19, 1942 by U-66. My great-grandfather was also on the vessel and perished in the attack.

According to the crew and passenger list that I have, Ken was a passenger from the UK. He was among the survivors, and wrote a firsthand account of what happened in the lifeboat.

I am writing a book about the Lady Hawkins, and I would like to learn what I could about the crew and passengers who were onboard; both those that were lost, and the survivors.

I am having a difficult time locating any info about those who were aboard, so if anyone out there has any information about this person, any other passengers or crew members, or the ship itself that they would be willing to share with me for the purpose of my book, I would greatly appreciate it. In the book, I will of course, credit the people who submit any of their info to me.

Thank you.
