Cuzz Richard,
I would have to agree with you on that. Not all Wills, or census are the truth. Not even the 1's I have posted in the past can be taking as the truth. They are just what the family has heard on the family. But the family records all need to be seen and let us go from there on what can be counted as the truth or a lie. Just like on the 1930 census that Linda Snyder showed me on Joe Jesse Chase has him listed a full blooded Indian. And the other have him as 1/2 blooded. Now if we use the 1 that say's he is full blooded we could get things. But since we don't, we have to settle for the 1/2 blooded. And after all it came from his own mother's lips about who his dad really was. I would say that would be good enough for me to know the truth. After all she layed down with the man and had the son for him.
Have a nice day cuzz
Grace
