Looking for name of Widow(er) Jans who may have been the first husband of Catherine Meyer who was born 1739 Germantown, Pa and died 1808 Forsyth County, North Carolina.She later married Johann Christian Zimmerman b. Germany d. North Carolina.The above info came from a Petree researcher in the 1960's labeled "History of "Widow Jans". What happened to him?Thanks.Micki
