Janssen in from Germany to Australia inWW2

My Grandfather came to Australia from Germany During WW2. I belive the family was In Brauslo - i really dont know how it is spelt but beleive the town is no longer standing. My Grandfather Fred Janssen was not very forthcoming with information. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.
