I am trying to trace my gr gr gr grandmother who lived in Ostfriestland, Germany. The name on her list that I have is Heimke Maria Heiken although on the paper it says she is the daughter of Heike Frerichs. She married Heinrich Janssen. The naming is confusing and I haven't been able to find any Heikens in the German list I have. Did your gr gr gr grandmother come from this area of Germany?
