Re: John Edward Dillon Jenking - Birmingham England
I look forward to receiving the information you've offered, and wish you all the best for a lovely trip to Europe.I hope you have the chance to do some more research while there.
I'm in Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria, in the foothills of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges which has lots of tree-ferns, hence the name of the towns. We have a lovely micro-climate so I can grow nearly anything except tropical plants.
I've got family connections with Wellington - my g-grandfather was born there in 1877.I haven't been to NZ yet, but its on my wish list.
I hope your notes include details of Frederick's family - I'd love to make contact with some descendants to learn more about his wife's first family, plus what became of Frederick.
Even if the notes don't cover this information, at least it will help me to sort out the various Jenking lines and perhaps lead me to the answers.
Looking forward to hearing from you again, and all the best to you and yours,
