Mormons in Russell County, Alabama in 1898

"Elder James P. Jensen, Richfield, Colorado, and Elder R. E. Butler, of Trenton, Utah, two ministers of the latter day saint or Mormon faith, were in town Wednesday. They will remain in the county about three months. They said they wanted to preach in Seale but could get no house in which to hold services. They were from here towards Villula and Pittsboro."
