I purchased the subject RPPC (Real Photo Poostcard) depicting a young man, identified on the front:

"This one for myself.
Thorvel Jensen
Moose Jaw."

The back of the postcard bears the following correspondence:

"Taken at Moose
Jaw Canada Easter
Mon. Apr. -1912
At Suttons photo
gallery, River St. West"

Thorvel addressed the postcard to himself:

"Thorvel Jensen
Pierre,
So. Dak."

The postcard is postally unused as evidenced by having no postage stamp affixed to it.

This individual appears in Public Member Trees posted on ancestry.com.Thorvel Lenord Jensen, born 25 Aug 1893 in Pierre, Hughes Co., SD, died 25 May 1964 in MN, was the son of a farmer, Anthon Jensen (1854-1937), and Mathilda Mikkelsen (1859-1912).Thorvel married Emma Pikal (1899-1989) and the couple had two children: Elinor Jensen (1921-1989) and Donald Thorvel Jensen (1921-1986).
