Re: My Jette Line,Quebec-Ontario
I had the Sudbury OGS check the Sudbury Star(as Clarisse
Jette(also reffered to as Jetty) passed away in Sudbury, given the date range 1939-40, early march,I could get from my relatives, but nothing panned out. But even then, I cannot be sure of the accuracy of this date range.
As for Sturgeon Falls, I would have to look at the North Bay Nugget. But as I live in Southern Ontario, hiring a researcher to check through microfilm, without a reliable date, could be costlly. To order the microfilm myself, could be years( if she is even listed in the obits) the cover all the microfilm necessary. Given that the date range I was given by relativesfor my great granfather Blais turned out to be ten years off, if the same turns out in this case, I could go bankrupt hiring a researcher, or could be twice past retirement age before I hit gold ordering microfilm.
But, as God smiles generouslly on me many times in the past with my genealogy, eventually, someone who has the info will come along for me, and will trade it for info I have that he/she doesn't.
In any case, Christine, thank you for your message, I much appreciate hearing from you
