Floyd E. Sullens
dies at age 51
Floyd Edward Sullens, 51, of
512 Aurora Ave., died Wednesday
in a Jefferson City Hospital.
Born Sept. 10, 1918, Mr.
Sullens was tie son of Leonard
and Sadie Johnson Sullens,
Jefferson. City, who survive. He
married Miss Clara Howrey,
who also survives.
Mr. Sullens was a member
«f -the First Baptist Church,
J e f f e r s o n City; Wyandotte
Lodge No. 24, LaGrange, Mo.;
and Fraternal Order of Eagles,
Jefferson City. He was a World
War II veteran.
Survivors include: Five sons,
Floyd B. Sullens II and Ronald
G. Sullens of the home, Richard
L. Sullens, Fort Leonard Wood,
Bobby Sullens, Racine, Wis.,
and F. Ray Sullens, LaGrange;
one daughter, Mrs. Kenny
Plogger, Ogden, Utah; three
grandchildren;
Three brothers, Roy Sullens,
beige City, HaroId Sullens and
Myron Sullens of Jefferson City;
four sisters, Mrs. Effie Owens,
Mrs. Fern Owens, both of Osage
City, Mrs. Jane Barrett, Akron,
Ohio, and Mrs. Dorothy Gelvin,
SL.Louis.
Funeral sevices will be
conducted at the Freeman
Mortuary Chapel Saturday at
2:30 p.m. with Rev. G.
Nelson Duke officiating. In-
terment will be in Hawthorn
Memorial Gardens.
Masonic services will be
conducted at the Freeman
Chapel at 8 .m. Friday by
Jefferson Lodge No. 43, A.F. &
A.M. Military honors, will be
conducted at the cemetery by
Roy. Sone Post No. 1003,
Veterans of Foreign Wars.
