John M. Johnson born 1806-1871 NC_Fayette Co., AL_Choctaw Co., MS

Seeking information about the father of John M. Johnson born March 20, 1806 in NC died on March 17, 1871 in Choctaw Co., MS now Webster Co., MS as I am trying to prove that Daniel Johnson (born about 1770) is John father.

John M. Johnson married Elizabeth "Betsy" Story Morrow (1816-1894) about 1833 in Fayette Co., AL .Moved from Fayette Co., AL to Choctaw Co., MS between 1844-1847 as son Erastus B. Johnson born in AL in 1844 andson William born in 1847 in MS.

According to Morrow bible records Elizabeth's sister Ellen White Morrow married unknown Johnson brother of John M. Johnson. According to 1850 Pickens Co., AL census Ellen Johnson husband is Archibald Johnson born 1816 in TN. According BLM land records a Archibald Johnson and a Daniel Johnson bought land the same day, next to each other in Pickens Co., AL.

According to the 1850 Pickens Co., AL census a Daniel Johnson born about 1770 in NC died after 1850.

I suspect that this Daniel Johnson was in Bedford Co., TN before moving to AL and that this Daniel Johnson may have been born in Granville Co., NC

Archibald and Ellen Morrow Johnson move to Choctaw Co., MS then on to Bowie Co., TX where Ellen died in January 1870. Archibald died 1880 in TX.

Any information about the father of John and Archibald will be appreciated as it will help me prove or disprove the theory that Daniel Johnson is their father.

My Johnson cousin had his Y-DNA tested several years ago but no Johnson match but matched with several other families with different last names so we may have had a name change at some point.
