Seeking information about the ancestry of Margaret Johnson, who married Adam A. Simonton, probably in Rowan co NC, on 26 Dec 1771. Adam A. Simonton and wife Margaret left Rowan co NC and moved to Greene co GA, after the Rev War. Adam A. Simonton died in Greene co GA in 1801.Cannot find death date or death records of wife, Margaret. Wonder if she moved to live with their children.
There is a Will of a Thomas Johnson, Greene co GA, in Book 4, 1817-1842, was he a brother of Margaret?
