Re: Isaac Johnston, mid 1700's, of Charleston SC

I am in Charleston County, and have looked in all the books I have for an Isaac Johnston. One came over with his parenrs James & Jane Johnston in 1767 at the age of 8, but he seems to have moved to the upper part of the State. No Isaac in the 1790 Census.He would be still living at the family home, I suppose.That would make him 31 when he married Ann.
Do you happen to know in what church they were married, or at least what denomination they were?

I found a William Milligan, and think he was Baptist. If so, we can forget the church having marriage records.I tried!
