Ray, I am also interested in John Johnson and Eleanor Davis.I'm descended from Frost & Snow (my favorite spelling - I believe 'ampersand' was his middle initial) and Elizabeth Johnson through their daughter Jenny who married Bartlett Cave and went to Jackson Co., MO.Bartlett Cave's parents were William Cave and Jeriah Davis.I don't know what relationship, if any, there was between Eleanor Davis and Jeriah Davis, but the Cave and Snow families knew each other well before William and Jeriah (Davis) Cave's two sons married Frost and Elizabeth (Johnson) Snow's two daughters:

John Cave b.c. 1764 m.c. 1785 to Frances Snow d/o Frost & Elizabeth
Bartlett Cave b.c. 1770 m. 1796 Orange Co., VA to Jenny Snow d/o Frost & Elizabeth
and another brother William Cave Jr. m. 1810 Orange Co., VA to Sarah Snow d/o Thomas and Mary.

William Cave, the father of John, Bartlett, and William Jr. was one of the witnesses to the 1769 Albemarle Co., VA will of John Snow, father of Frost.William was the son of Robert and Mary Cave.
