Re: James Johnston, Wilkes Co. NC

James Calvin Johnston (son of David Johnston and Margaret "Peggy" Julietty Johnson), was born 31 May 1857, and died 7 Oct 1945. He married 6 Mar 1881 in Wilkes County Nancy Emaline Hayes (daughter of George Washington Hayes and Mary "Polly" Riddle), who was born 7 May 1863 in Wilkes County, and died 1 Feb 1925 in Wilkes County. Both are buried at Edgewood Baptist Church in Wilkes County. I have 6 children for them.
