Re: Robert Johnstoon of VA,,KY, MO.

I don't know if this is any help but there is a Robert Johnston (b: 1770 d: 1855) buried in the Johnston Family Cemetery in Shelbyville, Shelby, Kentucky and I don't know who he is for sure.My husband's 4th great grandfather, John S Johnston, owned the farm. John and Robert originally came from Virginia.I have John born in 1766 and marrying a Sarah Gulick in Loudoun Co., VA in 1796.John moved to KY, according to the family lore, with his brother Robert, and left brother Hugh in Virginia.I have been searching in Loudoun Co., VA for information on John as his seven children were born there so I know for fact he lived in Loudoun Co., VA from 1796-1814. I just located a distant cousin of my husband's who tells me about brothers Robert and Hugh.
