I am the gggrandson of Hugh Johnston.Following the death of John H Sr in 1889 at Debec Junction, Carleton Co, New Brunswick,the rest of the family moved to Dayton, Washington.Dayton is 7 miles west of Shelton, WA, the county seat of Mason Co.The children,including my grandfather John H Jr, were all married, raised their families there and are buried there.
I am anxious to learn, if possible where in Tyrone Co Hugh and Ann lived prior to their leaving for New Brunswick, Canada, arriving there in 1828.There are photos of The Johnston farm taken by members of the Hall family, Sam Hall was married to one of the girls.
I have b and d dates of the children if you're interested.Please let me know if or and anyone you know has info on where in Tyrone Co Hugh lived.
