Adam Johnston b. 1730 Scotland

Hello,

I am looking for the parents of Adam Johnston born in June 18, 1730 in Kirkpatrick-Juxta, Dumfries-shire, Scotland and died 1801 in Cornwall, Stormont, Ontario, Canada.I believe in immigrated to USA in 1775 or 1776 from Scotland.He was living in Canada according to a census in 1777.I appreciate any information that anyone can share with me.I am working on a family tree as a Christmas present for my parents.
